Well here's a treat - the slideshow that accompanied Bill Frisell's
Richter 858 recording has been made available on YouTube. The slideshow was originally included on the enhanced CD that came out in 2005. Time moves on and formats change, but happily the Gerhard Richter slideshow is now ready for you to blow up full screen to watch, listen and enjoy. The music? A mix of Frisell's more adventurous compositions that follow the contours and lines of Richter's squeegee paintings. Performed by Bill Frisell (guitar), Jenny Scheinman (violin), Eyvind Kang (viola) and Hank Roberts (cello).
